What is Insiders?
Insiders is an online research community run by the Insight team at Immediate Media Company. Insiders members provide feedback across a range of areas across all of our brands – it might be feedback for an editor on the content of a magazine, helping us assess how an advertising campaign has worked, being asked to test some products or just a simple survey about our reader's habits.
Who are Immediate Media Co?
Immediate is a leading UK consumer media and publishing company. We are the third largest magazine company in the UK, publishing market leading titles such as Radio Times, BBC Top Gear, BBC Good Food, Lonely Planet Traveller and BBC Gardeners' World. We also publish a huge range of magazines and websites across sport, craft, science, and the arts including 220 Triathlon, Mollie Makes, BBC Focus, and BBC Music, as well as over 20 magazines aimed at younger audiences such as Top of the Pops, Match of the Day and CBeebies. How does Insiders work?
It's really easy to get involved. Click on the link at the bottom of this page and fill out a short registration survey which tells us which magazines and websites you read, and a little bit about yourself. It only takes a couple of minutes but allows us to ensure we are only sending you surveys that are relevant to you.
Once you are registered we will send you relevant surveys via email to complete. And every time you complete a survey you will be entered into our monthly prize draw.
Each month there will be ten £50 Amazon vouchers to win. You get an entry for every survey you complete in a month so the more surveys you do, the better your chances of winning.
How do you use my personal information?
In addition to using your information to contact you, we ask for certain information (date of birth, region where you live, etc.) in order to ensure that we only send you relevant surveys and to give us a better understanding of the demographics of our Insiders panel members. We share our survey results with the relevant Immediate Media brand(s), but this will always be in an aggregated, anonymous form so you can't be identified personally from these reports. We don't use your information for any other purpose.
The online platform we use to carry out our Insiders research activity is provided by a company called Questback Ltd., a UK based company. Questback store your personal information within the EEA and is responsible for compliance with its obligations as Processor under the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
Of course, if you are no longer able to be an Insider just let us know by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll remove you from our panel.
